Operating throughout COVID-19
In response to the New Zealand Government's COVID-19 alert level system, Cambridge Road Pets has developed a safe-working plan.
This is to keep both staff members and customers safe throughout this turbulent time.
Level 1 & 2
Cambridge Road Pets will operate as per Government guidelines including the use of PPE & social distancing where appropriate. All orders with be dispatched as per normal at both alert level 1 & 2. During level 2 we also include a safe message in all packages dispatched, this is to further the protection of our customers.
During level 3, Cambridge Road Pets can and does operate. During this level we take extra precautions such as extra sanitation of surfaces and areas, one individual handling each order separately and PPE in permanent use, no matter the number of staff members working. All orders will be processed at level 3, however there may be delays as we take safety precautions.
During level 4, Cambridge Road Pets can still receive orders, however cannot dispatch until level 3 or lower. We will still be able to answer any questions, help with choosing product and provide estimations on the dispatch of goods, once returned to level 3 or below.
If a localised level 4 is implemented. ie. Wellington is imposed on a level 4 lockdown, any orders destined for Wellington will be packed but not dispatched until the level for the given area is lowered. This is due to couriers operating for essential business only during level 4. We also do this as it significantly reduces the risk of packages being lost as they wait in courier depots before being delivered to the final destination.
